If you run a WordPress based website it is essential that it is maintained and kept up to date. Out of date plugins or WordPress core installations can contain vulnerabilities that put your website at high risk. This WordPress maintenance service includes a complete backup of your WordPress installation (files and database) followed by a safe update of WordPress core and any installed plugins where the auto update facility is enabled. If your installation contains premium plugins the plugin must be activated and authenticated for auto updates, if you require manual upload of premium plugin files please choose the “Manual Plugin Updates” add-on.

Please note the basic service includes WordPress core and plugins only and does not include any theme updates or updates to bundled theme plugins, if you require this service please choose the “Include Theme Updates” add-on.

Manual Plugin Updates

With this add-on I can update any plugins you have that do not have the auto-update feature enabled. Simply provide the up to date plugin files with access to your FTP server. Plugin files are then manually updated by removing the previous version and installing the new.

Include Theme Updates

With this add-on I can update your existing WordPress theme if there is a newer version available. If you use a premium theme you will need to provide the up to date theme files, FTP server details will also be required to complete the upload. The existing theme version is then completely removed and replaced with the new version.
